Condors in the Community: Raffle Winners Announced for Condors Pre-game Warm Up Jerseys

The Condors Pre Game Warm-Up Jersey Silent Auction and Raffle concluded Saturday. All of the proceeds will benefit the Active 20/30 Club, which volunteers hundreds of man hours and thousands of dollars to worthy causes such as M.A.R.E., Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Kern County and many others. This week in Condorstown:

Friday, Apr. 15

Colonel Claw’d and Condors staff will visit Wayside School, located at 1000 Ming Ave. at 1:30 p.m. Colonel will be attending the schools weekly assembly and will help congratulate the students with awards received during the year.

Saturday, Apr. 16

The Condors will be out at The American Lung Association Fight for Air Walk event being held at Yokuts Park located at 4200 Empire Drive from 9 to 12 p.m. There will be an informational table with 2011-12 season info, Condors prizes, and the Inflatable Slapshot Booth as well. Also, Condors mascot Colonel Claw’d will be joining the local walkers who will be walking the 3 miles to help raise money for American Lung Association research to improve the air we Trashpickupbreathe. Great American Clean-Up:

The Condors took part in the Great American Clean-Up on Saturday, Apr. 9th. Every year the Condors join millions of volunteers across the nation by picking up trash at different locations around the city to keep our city of Bakersfield beautiful. Even though the hockey season has concluded, the Condors will still be out in the community all throughout the off-season.
