Condors incentive programs for your school
Bakersfield, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors, host of the 2010-11 ECHL All-Star Classic and ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, offer two incentive programs to reward local area students during the 2010-11 school year. Each program gives students the opportunity to earn FREE tickets to a select Condors game.
T.H.I.N.K. (Turn Hockey Into New Knowledge), sponsored by Mercy and Memorial Hospitals and Diamond Technologies, is a program to award academic achievement and good behavior at the elementary and middle school levels. The specific criterion required for a student to earn a complimentary ticket to a game is entirely determined by the individual school or teacher. All elementary and middle schools in Kern County are invited to participate in the program. Schools taking part in the program are eligible to participate in one of four scheduled T.H.I.N.K. nights listed below.
T.H.I.N.K. dates:
Fri. Nov. 12 Sat. Dec. 11
Fri. Feb. 18 Fri. Mar. 25
Each ticket voucher includes a detachable registration form which students can fill out and deposit when they redeem their voucher at the Rabobank Arena box office. A winner is drawn at each T.H.I.N.K. night making them eligible for the grand prize drawing on the final T.H.I.N.K. night. The winner will recieve a brand new computer brought to you by Diamond Technologies!
Classroom Champions, sponsored by ABC23, SC Architect Inc. and Kern County Firefighters, is a program to provide a tangible incentive for students to achieve outstanding attendance levels at school. The attendance goal required to earn a complimentary ticket is determined by the school or teacher. All elementary and middle schools in Kern County are invited to participate in the program. Schools participating in the program are eligible to participate in one of four scheduled Condors Classroom Champions nights listed below.
Classroom Champions dates:
Fri. Oct. 29 Sat. Nov. 20
Sat. Jan 15 Fri. Feb. 25
Prior to the designated T.H.I.N.K. and Condors Classroom Champions games, Condors players and mascots may be requested to participate in an assembly at the school to congratulate students on reaching their academic achievement and attendance goals. Due to the large number of schools involved, we can only accommodate your school for ONE of the previously listed programs.
