Tonight’s match up:

This is the final meeting of the regular season between Victoria and Bakersfield, in what has been an even season series. Both clubs have won three times, with the Condors taking each of the last two vs victoriamatches. The Condors made one trip to Victoria this season, taking two out of three in a series in early March, which started the club’s current eight-game winning streak. Bakersfield’s win last Saturday put them in first place in the Pacific Division for a night, but they have since been passed up by Stockton, who now owns the number two slot in the Western Conference standings.

Condors misc:

LW Guillaume Lefebvre has 11 points (4g-7a) in his current eight-game point streak, which is the longest of the season for the Condors… G Jim Watt earned a victory in his professional debut last weekend, stopping 22 shots in a 5-2 win Saturday night against Ontario. G Brian Stewart, who has been in the net for seven of the team’s eight consecutive wins, will get the start tonight… D Josh Burrows (U. of Vermont) and RW Mike Gurtler (Mercyhurst) will both make their pro debuts tonight… C Joel Broda has five multiple-goal games this season for Bakersfield. He also has taken both of their penalty shots… The Condors have been involved with seven penalty shots on the season, two for and five against, and only one has resulted in a goal… The Condors power play has scored in five straight games (30.4%) while the penalty kill has been perfect in eight of the last nine games (91.2%).
