Is the skills competition going to be held during the day before the All-Star Game

From: Diana

Comments: From what I have heard the All Star game skills competition is going to be held during the day on January 26th. I was wondering if I will be able to come and go from the arena? Or if you come in early to see the skills comp. Will I have to stay the whole day to get back in for the game? I took a vacation day and don’t want to miss anything.

Reply: Actually, the Skills Competition and All-Star Game are both the evening of the 26th. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and the Skills Competition will take place a little after 6 p.m. The Game will start at 7 p.m. One ticket for the game will get you in to see both events.

Since you took the day off already, perhaps you are interested in attending the ECHL Hall of Fame Luncheon earlier that day. The formal event runs from Noon – 1:30 p.m. and this season will honor four individuals who are considered to have made a great commitment to the success of the ECHL on and off the ice. Tickets for that are $40, and include lunch. Both teams will be in attendance at the event and there will also be a keynote speaker announced at a later date.
