The Condors play the back end of a home-and-home with LasVegas at Rabobank Arena. It is the third meeting of 11 this season between the two sides and the second of six on home ice for Bakersfield. The next two games in the season series will be played on holidays (Boxing Day 12/26 and New Year’s Day 1/1).

Bakersfield’s modest two-game winning streak came to an end last night at the hands of the Wranglers, 3-1. The Condors started the game well, scoring at 1:34 of the first period, when C Joel Broda muscled a shot past G Travis Fullerton off a feed from D Erik Burgdoerfer. G Chet Pickard started for the first time since last Tuesday and made 25 saves on 27 shots.

Las Vegas played their first home game since early November after a nine-game road trip saw them go 3-5-1-0. The Wranglers have now won two straight and recieved goals from F Adam Huxley, C Geoff Irwin, and an empty-net tally from F Adam Hughesman last night. Fullerton was at his best in the third period, denying all 14 shots he faced and 33 of 34 on the evening.

D Erik Burgdoerfer has assists in each of his last three games. He is third all-time in team history for games played as a defenseman with 221 in his career… C Joel Broda extended his point streak to three games with a goal last night. He now has three goals and four assists for seven points during that stretch… Three Condors (Broda, Chris Collins, and Matt Thurber) paced the team with five shots each last night… The Condors have picked up three of their five wins on Saturdays.
12/3 F Ryan Little signed off waivers from Ontario
