Condors shut down by Reign, 1-0

ONTARIO, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors (20-17-1-0, 41pts) fell 1-0 the Ontario Reign (13-22-0-2, 27pts) in front of 4,627 fans at Citizens Business Bank Arena Wednesday Night.

Neither team was able to score in the first period, although the Reign hit the right goal post while on the power play early in the period. Ontario broke open the scoring just 47 seconds into the middle frame, when C Michael Pelech capitalized on a wrap around. Ontario held the 1-0 lead into the third period.

The Condors had a few chances to even the score in the third, but were shut down by G Beau Erickson, as the Condors fell 1-0 to the Reign. Condors G Brian Stewart made 24 saves in the loss.
