Tonight is the first-ever meeting between the Condors and the Firebirds, who are the AHL affiliate of the Seattle Kraken.

LAST TIME OUT

The Condors rallied to tie Colorado at one apiece in the third, but a quick response gave the Eagles a 2-1 win on Tuesday. Coachella Valley won 6-2 in San Jose last night, including four power-play goals.

BENSON BACK

Tyler Benson was reassigned to the Condors yesterday after two games with the Oilers. He’s the Condors all-time AHL assist leader with 117 in 177 games.

YANNI? YES

Yanni Kaldis is expected to return to the lineup tonight after missing nine games due to injury. He has four points (1g-3a) in eight games this season and 42 points (8g-34a) in 89 career games with the Condors.

OVER THE CENTURY MARK

Olivier Rodrigue has been a busy netminder for the Condors. Over his past three appearances, the third-year netminder has made 105 saves.

SHOOT IT

Michael Kesselring leads all AHL d-men with 73 shots. His eight goals is tied for most among AHL d-men as well.

TIGHT GAMES

Four of the Condors last six losses have been by a goal. In fact, five of the six game-winners have come in the third period.

ON THE OTHER SIDE

Coachella Valley has won five straight. Still waiting to play their first true home game in Palm Desert, the Firebirds are 10-2-2 on the road this season. Next weekend, the team will open Acrisure Arena against the Tucson Roadrunners.
