Xavier Bourgault (11th) scored on the opening shift and the Bakersfield Condors (20-22-4, 44pts) and the Condors cruised to a 4-1 road trip opening win over the Colorado Eagles (27-16-3-1, 58pts).
Ty Tullio (9th) and Luke Esposito (3rd) each scored in the second period to extend the lead after Colorado leveled in early in the 2nd. Justin Bailey (10th) hit double figures in goals with a third period insurance marker.
The Condors are now 9-4-1-2 in their last 16 games.
