BAKERSFIELD Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors, host of the 2010-11 ECHL All-Star Classic and ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, will be hosting a free agent tryout camp the weekend of Sept. 17-19 at the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center.

The camp is open to anyone looking to break into the pro ranks, or continue their hockey careers, and will be hosted by Condors Head Coach Marty Raymond. Former Condors and BISC managers Scott Hay and Paul Willett will also be on hand to run the camp. Players will be battling for an opportunity to participate in the Condors Training Camp, which begins Friday, Oct. 1.

Those participating in the camp will have three on-ice sessions at the BISC in order to test their skills against other attendees. Times for the camp will be announced at a later date. All participants must have full gear and be at least 18 years of age.

Tryout camp attendees may reserve rooms at the Bakersfield Marriott at the Convention Center (located walking distance from the BISC) at a discounted rate. A limited number of rooms are available.
