Condors launch new website design

Bakersfield, Calif. The Bakersfield Condors, ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, have given a facelift to www.bakersfieldcondors.com. Popular features including the Condors Mailbag, news updates, and fan polls are back. New additions include a live twitter feed, an increased presence of CondorsTV, and a new brighter look to the site. The Season Ticketbakersfieldcondors.com Holder page has seen updates as well

The new Condors web page makes it even easier for fans to stay updated on everything happening in Condorstown. The news section has been expanded to include more headlines, and the Community Relations area of the home page now includes multiple stories. CondorsTV is featured more prominently, and includes three embedded videos on the home page.

The Condors also make it easier for fans to keep up on Facebook and Twitter. The Condors live Twitter feed is now available on the home page of www.bakersfieldcondors.com, providing quick and easy access to see Twitter updates. Fans who follow the Condors on Facebook have a chance to show up in the Facebook box on the website, an area that highlights those who “Like” the Condors.

Season Ticket Holders will no longer be required to enter a username and password to be able to access the Season Ticket Holder section. News on the Club Room and the Space Between menus, as well as the Autograph Booth schedule on game nights, is now just one click away. Season ticket holders are still welcome to create a username to comment on the Condors.

“We have always strived to keep the website fresh,” said Condors Vice President of Communications Kevin Bartl. “Adding or enhancing elements that share in the Condors experience was a priority, such as linking up our 9,000 facebook and twitter followers, and making the Season Ticket Holder Section easier to use. At the same time we wanted to display more of our recent videos, news and community stories, and just make it easier to navigate to find this information.

The Condors have won the ECHL award for Website of the Year in 2005 and 2009, and finished as the runner up in 2006.
