Condors sign C Alexis Loiseau to AHL contract

CONDORSTOWN, Calif.  The Bakersfield Condors, owned by the Edmonton Oilers, announced today that the team has signed C Alexis Loiseau to an American Hockey League (AHL) contract.
LOISEAU (stats) “low-EYE-zoh”; 21 years old; 6’1″, 179 lbs. Havre-Aux-Maisons, Quebec

  • Tied for fifth in league scoring with 96 points (35g-61a) in 68 games for theRimouski Océanic of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) this season
  • Led Rimouski in the playoffs to a Memorial Cup berth with 26 points (9g-17a) in 20 games and finished third in the QMJHL in playoff scoring
  • At the Memorial Cup, paced the Océanic with five points (2g-3a) in five games and was named the tournament’s George Parsons Trophy winner as the Most Sportsmanlike Player
  • Scoring increased each of his four seasons with Rimouski
