LAST TIME OUT
Bakersfield raced out to a 3-0 lead after two periods and hung on for a 3-2 win in Coachella Valley last night. Tyler Benson (3rd) scored the game-winner and had 17 minutes worth of penalty time. Dylan Holloway (1st) scored in the opening frame, but left in the second period. Calvin Pickard picked up his 12th win of the year, stopping 34 of 36 shots.
Noah Philp recorded an assist on the game winner last night. He has seven points (4g-3a) over his last seven games.
Calvin Pickard is 11-5-0 in his last 16 decisions with a 2.58 goals-against average and a .923 save percentage. Last night was the ninth time this season he has allowed two or fewer goals against.

The Condors are +5 in the first period and +6 in the third period in goal differential this season.
With 24 games left in the regular season, the hunt for playoff positioning is in full swing. Since Jan. 1, the Condors have just five regulation losses in 18 games with a record of 10-5-1-2 (.639%). The team sits in the final playoff spot, two points back of Tucson, but with three games in hand on the Roadrunners.
Bakersfield’s grind of 15 road games in 22 overall and are in the midst of a three-city, four games-in-six days trip. After February, the Condors have a seven-game homestand awaiting them.

BACK-TO-BACK TO CLOSE THE SERIES
Bakersfield is 5-1-0 against San Diego this season and will close the season series with a home-and-home tonight and Tuesday in Bakersfield. Michael Kesselring has three goals and six points in the series. Ollie Rodrigue is 2-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .925 save percentage against the Gulls. Bakersfield has outscored San Diego 23-12 on the year.

San Diego fell in overtime last night at home to Ontario. Rocco Grimaldi had a hat trick for the Gulls.
