The Downtown Business Association is hosting a Mixer at The Cottages located on the corner of Truxtun Ave. and N St. from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Admission for DBA Members is $5 and for Non-Members $7. Come and make your way through all the shops at the Cottages, across the street from Rabobank Arena. Each location will offer a raffle prize, including the Condors Team Store, which will be open throughout the event. Stop by to check out discounted merchandise and a chance to win a Condors gift bag during the raffle.
Condors broadcaster, Kevin Bartl, will be attending the Downtown Business Associations Chairmen’s Circle Luncheon being held at the Bakersfield Country Club at 11:30 a.m. For more information about the DBA visit www.bakersfielddba.net.
Saturday, May 14
Colonel Claw’d and Baby Cal will be joining the Girl Scouts of America at Camelot Park, located at 1251 Oak St. from 1 to 2 p.m to help celebrate a job well done on cookie sales. Colonel and Cal will be handing out prizes to the Girl Scouts and families enjoying the many attractions at Camelot.
Condors staff will be at the Celebrate Life Community Carnival at Bakersfield Christian Church located at 3200 Bernard St. from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Colonel Claw’d will also be joining the many different attractions that will be on hand such as bounce houses, face painting, petting zoo, car show, live music, food, and more! There will be something for everyone, so bring out the family!
Have the Condors at Your Event:
Even though the hockey season has concluded, the Condors will still be out in the community all throughout the off-season. If you’re interested in getting any of our mascots, Colonel Claw’d, Baby Cal or Slapshot, the inflatable Slapshot Booth or the Condors prize wheel out to your camp, youth program, school or other event, contact the Condors. Condors staff are also available to speak at your service luncheons, such as Rotary Club, Lions Club, among others. Call 324-PUCK (7825) for availability or more information.
