Just a few moments later RW Stephane Goulet extended the lead by banging in his ninth of the season, on the power play, past G Kellen Briggs to make it 3-1. Ontario pulled back within one late in the period when C Brett O’Malley sent a one-timer home to end the frame 3-2.

The two teams exchanged tallies early in the third. RW Carter Smith scored for the Condors, chipping in a rebound for his sixth of the season at 6:14 to make it 4-2. But C Justin Taylor answered for the Reign 1:40 later to pull back within a goal.
